ECOM wins German Design Award 2020

The Pepperl+Fuchs brand ECOM receives the German Design Award 2020 for outstanding design quality. The prestigious award goes to the new explosion-proof smartphone Smart-Ex 02 as well as to the remote speaker microphone RSM-Ex 01. Making technology usable for the mobile worker is a major goal for ECOM's design and development team. The design of ECOM's mobile solutions is optimally adapted to the work tasks in harsh, hazardous environments and meets the highest ergonomic standards.

The German Design Awards are presented by the German Design Council, the authoritative German body for branding and design. In an elaborated nomination process by panels of experts of the German Design Council honour only products and communications design projects that demonstrably distinguish themselves by their design quality.
